At the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2026, Keznamdi won Best Reggae Album for BLXXD & FYAH, his first nomination and first win. The album had arrived on August 22, 2025 as a 13-track project mixing classic reggae grounding with contemporary production and songs about colonial history, identity, social pressure and personal reflection. The moment belongs in the Tree as evidence that reggae is still being written, not as a finish line. The same 2026 category included Lila Iké, Vybz Kartel, Mortimer and Jesse Royal, a spread that reaches across roots-oriented reggae and dancehall rather than pointing toward one approved modern sound.
