Koffee
A Spanish Town singer, songwriter and nimble deejay voice who made gratitude feel explosive on “Toast.” Koffee’s rise widened the modern reggae frame toward dancehall, hip-hop and pop while keeping Jamaican phrasing at the center.

Koffee broke through while still a teenager, with “Toast” becoming the song that carried her bright, tightly packed flow far beyond reggae audiences. Her 2019 Rapture EP won the 2020 GRAMMY for Best Reggae Album, making her the category’s youngest winner and its first female winner. The 2022 album Gifted then stretched further into polished pop, acoustic writing, reggae and contemporary production. Her story is still moving. After a quieter release period, Koffee returned to Jamaican stages and new music in 2025–26; in 2026 she announced another album campaign while collaborating with dancehall artist Skillibeng. That makes her useful in this map not as proof of one “future of reggae,” but as a clear example of a young Jamaican artist moving freely across reggae’s current borders.
